Motion Qualia is a movement method that Kudo created.
By dis-engaging with own equilibrium, your brain senses that you are getting in an off-balance mode. Your brain immediately reacts to move your body, in order to bring you back to a safe place. Motion Qualia, uses this reflex to connect, to the movement. With this approach, you can broaden the range and height of movement. Of course, there is an abundance of approaches to the floor and there is a need for floor techniques. The purpose is that these natural beings, create inevitability in every movement.
Satoshi Kudo is a Japanese dancer and a choreographer based in Stockholm, Sweden. After his professional experience in Tokyo and New York, he moved his base to Stockholm since 1998.
