Training for Dancers
Irish born Marguerite Donlon is a former dancer of the English national ballet and soloist of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. She has performed a wide range of works from Jirí Kylian, Maurice Béjart, Geroge Balanchine, John Cranko, Micheal Clark, Bill T. Jones and Meg Stuart. She was the ballet director and house choreographer of the Saarländisches Staatstheater for 12
Years and has also created work for companies such as Netherlands Dans Theater II, Stuttgart Ballet, Deutsche oper Berlin, Rambert Dance London, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Viseral Dance Chicago, Trinity Dance, Companhia Nacional de Bailado Portugal, Svetlana Zacharova Bolshoi Ballet plus various other companies in Germany such as Gärtnerplatz Munich, Augsburg Ballet, Hagan Ballet and Staats Ballet Wiesbaden… Marguerite has her own project based company in Berlin called Donlon Dance Collective (DDC). Since 2014 she is a certified RD1st Life Coach and Mentor.
My training is a non-conventional, moving ballet class which highlights articulation, flow, breath, musicality and spatial awareness. The training will help you connect with your personally artistic strengths and self confidence in moving.
