The class will be focused on developing fluidity and sequencing within the body. It will explore the interaction between the movement of joints and their affect on each other. It will look at allowing freedom and accessibility within joints in order to constantly negotiate the body in space with efficiency. Initiating points will be investigated, beginnings of movements that send out a ripples throughout the body. As the class progresses these pathways will become more complex as initiation points start to cross over and interact with one another. The class will also explore balance and falling through space, and will play with risk. These principles will be taught through phrases and improvisational structures.
